Crochet Basics – Learn the Art of Stitches
Whether you’re joining us in person or from the comfort of your home, this beginner-friendly crochet class will guide you through the fundamentals you need to start your crochet journey.

Over the course of four hands-on sessions, you’ll learn how to hold your hook and yarn, make a foundation chain, and master the five essential stitches: single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, triple crochet, and slip stitch. We’ll review techniques, troubleshoot common challenges, and finish with a simple project—a cozy coffee sleeve—to put your new skills into practice.

In-Person Students will enjoy face-to-face instruction, real-time feedback, and the chance to connect with fellow crafters in a welcoming environment.

Virtual Students will follow along via live video, with clear demonstrations, close-up camera angles, and opportunities to ask questions in real time.

No prior experience is required—just bring your curiosity and creativity. By the end of the class, you’ll have the skills and confidence to start your own crochet projects and the satisfaction of creating something by hand.

Supplies Needed: 5 mm or 5.5 mm crochet hook, medium weight yarn, scissors, and yarn needle. (A supply kit is available for Purchase)
